LGBTQ+ Kink Events for Minky Members Only 

Some events, such as those that take place in private homes or that require a higher level of trust in attendees, are only for Minky Members! After all, we’d want to meet someone before we invite them into one of our host’s homes! These events can be anything from bonfires to grill outs to movie nights to brunches and more!

This also includes low-attendance kink lite events, with some play, demos, or where dynamics are the focus. Events include educational kink demo days, protocol D/s events, “littles” space, electrical play, quiet play events with hypnosis or sense-dep, kink games, or even just a movie night with a cuddle puddle.

Minky is a queer Twin Cities-based, sex positive BDSM / kink community geared towards adults aged 18-35. We are education focused, consent forward, and operate in service of membership of all sexual orientations and gender identities and expressions.

We all know that LGBTQ+ community and safer spaces are important; We aren’t a group with just a munch and a Discord; Minky facilitates online community and hosts an array of vanilla and kink events including munches, community day events and discussions, educational workshops and presentations, indoor and outdoor adventures, online workshops, social gatherings and bonfires, picnics and grill outs, movie nights and brunches, and more. All of these events are, as always, kink friendly, where people can authentically express themselves personally and their dynamics in our spaces.

Potlucks, Grill Outs, and more!

Love to cook or bake (or eat other people’s food?) We frequently host events to share and swap yummy food at potluck parties! Typically hosted in a private home with indoor and outdoor spaces. Play games, enjoy good conversation, share a communal meal, and drink way too many mountain dews.  

Minky hosts a variety of non-play private house party events. These range from holidays (Thanksgiving or New Years Eve) to brunches and grill outs. These events are sober, and a communal meal is always provided. Members are encouraged (but not required) to bring food to share. Watch a movie, chat around a bonfire, or hang out with friends–these events are guaranteed to be fun!

Kink Lite Events

These events are like mini-play parties, featuring a smaller attendance cap. Sometimes these may involve demonstrations that may be purely for watching, or some that may be interactive. They may also have a theme, such as protocol, electrical play, hypnosis, or more! 

Any event with non-demonstrative kink play follows additional rules for attendees. Moderators also have different requirements to run these kink events. Outdoor Kink Lite Events

Shibari picnic in the park? Duck duck grey duck with consequences? We are looking to host mini pride-like events doing non-lewd, fully clothed, fun events. Outdoor, pride-style events carry a level of outing risk for attendees, but are legal, fun, and in our experience, spectators tend not to pay much attention and those that do want to join.
